As I went to dress A today, I discovered that he has outgrown some of my favorite onesies. I bought the grey ones you see on a spur of the moment Target run, full of rash baby buys. I still remember the sweet woman who rang me up, commenting on my "cute belly" looking ready to pop. The woman in line behind me chimed in. They gushed over the items I had found, asking about his nursery decor, so excited for me to meet my little babe. They really piqued my happiness and excitement that day. Aidric came just days after that trip. I think all the warm fuzzy feelings and impulse baby buys were hormones in full swing ready for labor, making the memory all the more sweeter. All that to say, I was very sad to learn Aidric had outgrown these clothes. ;) We made do for some pictures anyhow, then boxed 'em up in our 'future sibling' box. I can't wait to put those pictures side by side with these some day. Except next time with a baby inside the clothes maybe.
What I gleaned from this sad day is to take a photo if I like something. For the next time I turn around, it probably will not fit. And so, I thought I might try a weekly roundup of what Aidric has been wearing for the blog. Put to good use all of the cute clothes he gets gifted to him, at least once. ;) He and I have the best time taking photos. He gets to roll around, soaking up so much praise and attention from mama. I get to indulge in my photo obsessed ways, and collect the most endearing photos of him. It's a win-win for all.
