life lately has been so full. it has been an experiment in turning the mundane into beautiful moments i can savor. it's the beauty of becoming. i have been working so hard to see the beauty of the chaos, and to interject joy in every hectic moment. because what else is there aside from this moment?
the focus of life lately has been on studying. my program is coming to a close, and with that comes endless testing. i've found that flowers, coffee, pretty note-taking, and the cutest pair of reading glasses increase my motivation tenfold. ;)
lunch dates with girlfriends, snuggles with my boy, and making our living space beautiful are the things that keep me sane in between.
aidric has been growing so rapidly! he's working out how to crawl, and is getting around by any means necessary in the meantime. i'm soaking up all of his sleepy cuddles surrounding nap times, and enjoying all the sink baths we can get. knowing his babyness will be gone all too soon is so bittersweet.
picture day and graduation invites have been helpful in sharpening the motivation to study!!
there has been SO MUCH scrub-wearing. lemme tell ya: i am sick and tired of these horrid green scrubs. i have been day dreaming and window shopping for new scrubs to add to my collection as a graduation present to myself, and i am so ready!
in the midst of it all, aidric and i have made a move! that has truly been a test of enjoying the process, and of stamina. living in the midst of boxes and differed routine has been stressful to say the least, but setting up a new home and beautifying it with simple diys have been the highlight of my free time.
among the new things aidric is mastering are solids! he has been doing so for just over a month now, and finally getting the hang of it. he's now developed the appetite of a teenage boy!
this weekend is the first and last of slow days for me until after graduation. i have been taking full advantage wrapping up loose ends, and savoring the freedom to move slowly and let my mind wander. i have been searching out inspiration for projects and plans i can't wait to have the time for postgrad. i plan to continue to play catch up with the blog and pictures of A, get ahead on studying, and plan a little mother's day + graduation weekend extravaganza.
